At BVI we work with you on each phase of your project from consultation to completion.

Intended for clients who are looking to hire BVI to design their home from start-to-finish. You will receive a full design plan, renderings, elevations, design/mood boards and design meetings. Our service is a flat fee to take out the guessing and includes a design manager to oversee all design on a regular basis throughout the duration of the project. BVI handles all communications with contractors, orders all materials, grants generous access to discounts on every item needed to renovate your space and provides the GC a specification book to ensure the design comes along as planned.

This full renovation design plan will help you conceptualize your space before your project begins. We will guide you through a step-by-step process starting with design, selecting all materials, to ordering and executing.

Looking to update, but don't have a clue where to begin? You love the BVI look just don't know how to get it?

This service is perfect for the client looking to update their space, but might not need or have the budget for the full-service renovation, or is out of our full-service area and needs remote design. We have worked on homes all over the country (even ground up builds!) and can help you even from afar!

The BVI team will put together a beautiful design, to include mood boards, a material list, layouts, renderings, design meetings in our design studio and a specification sheet you can take to your preferred contractor to execute the project.

Our Design Process

Consultation

The initial Consultation phase is our opportunity to get to know each other, establish trust, and build a strong foundation for your project. Through an intake questionnaire and in-person meeting, we will discuss goals, scope, desired investment, and timeline with all decision-makers.

Conceptualization

Conceptualization includes collaborating with your architect (for new homes) and other involved trades to set the direction for the design. Our main priority is to establish the floor plan, develop concepts for the interior architecture, and ensure that the design thoughtfully facilitates your everyday living experience.

Design

Now, we move into the Design phase, which takes our ideas and further develops them with design boards, drawings, and other visual representations. This culminates in your Design Presentation, where you have the opportunity to exchange feedback, insights, and approval.

Development

We document the technical details of the project, including interior architecture, elevations, and more. These are also shared with the construction team for accurate work proposals and seamless implementation when construction begins.

Procurement

Procurement involves sourcing the exact materials, fixtures, and furnishings that will be ordered for your home. We assemble these into a Spec Book that is shared with your construction team in return for accurate work proposals. Following your approval, we order all materials that will need to be on-site for construction.

Implementation

During construction, we maintain close communication with your team to ensure the design is progressing as planned. We also receive, inspect, and store furniture and decor deliveries. When construction finishes, we install your new furnishings and style your interiors with meaningful touches that make your home yours.
